I recently withdrew my money from Neteller after they made their decision to not allow USA players to use their system to transfer money to and from poker or casino sites. It's only been a few days since I made my withdrawal, but I'm still waiting for the check.

I made my deposit with Neteller for the sole purpose of allowing me to be able to participate in buyin games. Initially when I began playing I played only freerolls. I found the freerolls rather useless to allow me to analyze how well I played. I felt I would be able to better evaluate my play if I played in buyin games. I dont know if this was true either, because rather than smaller fields, I don't believe I've seen much difference in my opponents playing styles.

I am not playing poker to make money, but I am not playing to lose money either. I want only to maintain my original deposit so I can continue to play in the buyin games. I do continue to play in freeroll games in order to build or maintain a balance at variious sites, but I really have no intention of withdrawing that money.

Now I need to open a new account and I am asking those who read this to give me your opinions on who to, or how to make my deposits in the future. As I stated before my only experience to date has been with Neteller. I am looking for a low cost way to make my deposits.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions from those of you who may have more experience in depositing, so I may be able to make my transactions safely and at a minimum cost.

Thank you.

I use moneybookers
but I think they don`t allow USA either, may be they will in the furure.
E wallet type system is what u need.
or just ur visa.
I play at merge network poker sites like carbonpoker, and they are reliable for withdaws.
merge network like the cake network do offer a lot of private forum freerolls and small buyins with added money.better odds of getting your deposit back faster =)

Hey,

PIC don't seem to bad, but unfortunately I find it is not widely used. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'll also go w/Moneybookers since Neteller is also a goner w/Canadian. So far it's easy to use and accessible.

But as Beef said, you'll have to check w/the US.

I have used instadebit on absolute poker and a prepaid visa and both were easy to use and the site will let you withdraw just as easily too. I got cheques though for my withdraw which cost around 7 buckks and did the withdraw on monday and got it on friday. Was also offered in Canadian dollars for the cheque even though my account is american currency. No problems were had cashing the cheques either gl to you.

I'm interesting in what Prepaid Visa you used, I need to deposit at a few sites and this sounds easier then the method I use. And where in B.C. are you? I am in Nanaimo

Hello, I am near Williams Lake and as for the pre-paid visa it was one from a money mart. I am pretty sure they carry the same cards at all locations, very easy to deposit step by step instructions and easy to reload. Although there is a monthly fee on the card it isn't that much and if you plan on using it more than once for other stuff, then hey it's very useful.
